Vonnegut’s Domestic Contract

From Harper’s: a domestic contract of a slightly different sort,* made between Kurt Vonnegut and his wife Jane in January  of 1947: http://www.harpers.org/archive/2012/09/0084030

This looks all very well, but what we’d be asking in law school is whether it’s enforceable. Can the agreement that the wife will not “nag, heckle, or otherwise disturb me on the subject” be considered sufficient reciprocity as to make this a binding contract between the parties?

*In law, we usually refer to domestic contracts as agreements that pertain to custody, access and division of assets (e.g. prenups, separation agreements and so on).
